We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Full-time and Part Time Teacher Positions / Curriculum Developer / Chef-Cook

LEAD TEACHER

Must be at least 21 years old
Native Spanish speaker
Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Must have at least 1 year experience working with children under 5 years old
MUST be passionate about teaching and working with children under 5 years old
MUST share our healthy nutrition philosophy and align with our nutritional guidelines
Must be able to work collaboratively with other teachers as a team
Must be staff credentialed (CDA, FCCPC or other DCF equivalent)
Must have completed 45-hour state-mandated training (required by DCF)
Must be first aid and CPR certified, or be willing to be trained
Must undergo mandated background screening
Have references available upon request

ASSISTANT TEACHER

Must be at least 21 years old
Native Spanish, Mandarin or French speaker
Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
Must have at least 6 months of experience working with children under 5 years old
MUST be passionate about teaching and working with children under 5 years old
MUST share our healthy nutrition philosophy and align with our nutritional guidelines
Must be able to work collaboratively with other teachers as a team
Must be staff credentialed (CDA, FCCPC or other DCF equivalent)
Must have completed 45-hour state-mandated training (required by DCF) or do so within first 90 days of employment
Must undergo mandated background screening
Have references available upon request

VPK TEACHER

Must be at least 21 years old
Must have VPK Readiness Credentials
Must have at least 1 year of experience working with the VPK Education Program
MUST be passionate about teaching
MUST be aligned with our nutrition policy
Must be able to work collaboratively with other teachers as a team
Must be staff credentialed (CDA, FCCPC or other DCF equivalent)
Must have completed 45-hour state-mandated training (required by DCF)
Must be first aid and CPR certified, or be willing to be trained
Must undergo mandated background screening
Have references available upon request

Chef/Cook

Must be at least 21 years old
Must be a certified ServSafe manager or equivalent
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a cook/chef position
Must be able to cook healthy meals without artificial colors or ingredients
Must be creative in the development of healthy dishes to please young palates
